ACL acts I am legit interested in:
Jay-Z (seen him three times; always puts on a badass show)
The Killers (never seen them)
Gorillaz (never seen them; curious how a "virtual band" plays a festival)
Ice Cube (hever seen him, and it's fucking Ice Cube)
The Head and the Heart (maybe my favorite band of the past few years)
First Aid Kit (two Swedish chicks that play folk music; loved their first album)
Car Seat Headrest (was not as wild about their debut last year as others, but it grew on me)
Hamilton Leithauser (assuming he'll play some stuff from The Walkmen, who I liked okay; his album with Rostan last year was one of the best of the year, but not sure how he'll handle being solo here)
Whitney (probably my favorite album last year)
The Lemon Twigs (had a hard time getting into their album last year, but my buddy Porter said they put on a great live show)
There are others on there that I wouldn't mind checking out... some play the festival pretty often (Ryan Adams, Spoon, Portugal. The Man)... some have songs or albums I've given cursory attention at some point the past few years (The XX, Glass Animals, Run the Jewels, Chance the Rapper)... and some that I have never listened to but aware of because I see a lot of people rave about them (Tove Lo, Eagles of Death Metal). Plus it seems like every time I have been I have discovered something new that I really liked.
There are a few acts that I have zero interest in, but overall I like the lineup.
