Had Frog Legs today.

It has probably been 10 years since I last had them.

These were exceptionally good. Meat was really juicy and falling off the bone. The batter was extremely delicious. It was so good that I might have to try their chicken fry steak next time.

Anyway, they gave me 5 great big ones. Along with the salad and baked potato, I was pretty much stuffed when I left.

It was really good. The slices were large. I had the pepperoni/italian sausage combo.

I love New York Style pizza.

However, thin and crispy is my all time favorite.

Today's food experience really sucked arse.

I had a lunch at a new local mexican restaurant. We waited forever for our food. the waiter kept apologizing. He said it was coming. It never did though. I think he or they lost or order. I basically filled up on chips and salsa. when it did finally come, it was the wrong order. I had ordered chicken fajita nachos. I ended up with nachos with taco meat and beans. I didn't eat them. I wasn't an asshole about it either. Maybe I'm maturing. I didn't have to pay for it though.

tonight, we had dinner at another new local mexican restaurant. I was in the mood for mexican b/c I didn't get it out of my system for lunch. We waited forever. Not quite as long as we did for lunch, but we waited a VERY long time. I ordered chicken fajita enchiladas this time. I ended up with shredded beef enchiladas. f that.

Worst eating day in history for me.

I had a submarine sandwich at Jersey Mikes today with Honey Mustard.

I'm not a big fan of Honey Mustard, but it was a nice change from Mayo or regular mustard.

Some of my friends eat Honey Mustard as a dressing on their salad.

I could never do that.

I had Frog Legs again today at the same place mentioned a few posts earlier.

These things are so freaking good.

I don't know how they get them so tender and the meat just falls off the bone.

Last time they gave me 5 big ones. Today, they gave me 7 frog legs.

This is going to start being a once a week meal for me until I start getting burned out.


So far, I've recently burned myself out eating subs at Jersey Mikes and Gyros at Arkropolis. Eating at those places 2-3 times a week for months will tend to do that to you.

It's outstanding. I wish I could remember which day it's the daily special, as they knock off a buck or two from the price. The large is pretty expensive ($8.50), though for the amount of food you get it's worth it.

Had a "super fajita quesadilla" (steak) at our local excuse for a Mexican restaurant called El Palenque's yesterday. This restaurant is best known in town for the wait staff, who all have perpetual frowns on their faces. To compliment the ambiance, they seem to always have Spanish music on that features a female singer screaming/singing as if it's a domestic dispute rather than a song. Awesome.

Peabody vs Food.

Last night I ate at Libby's cafe. It's a small but nice cafe just outside of Norman in the little town of Goldsby.

They have a double chicken fry steak plate on the menu.

Stupid me, thought it would be a good *challenge* to conquer.

It wasn't a real type of challenge as far as the cafe goes, it was just a Peabody inspired challenge.

Anyway, I eat my salad from the salad bar, the two bid chicken fry steaks, the pinto beans, and the steak fries.

I put it away easily. There wasn't a drop of gravy left on the plate.

About 1/2 way home, my stomach started telling my brain that I was full. I wasn't just full. I was miserable. All the grease from the fried food started making feel bad. I didn't get sick. I just was miserable. My body isn't used to fried food that much either.

Didn't do much last night except lay on the couch like a fattened anaconda that just finished eating a large pig.
