It finally happened

Postby beam,coke,&horns on Wed Feb 18, 2009 8:58 am

I saw my scalp today when i got out of the shower. I guess the thinning process is officially on. I'll be off the board for a few days while shopping for a corvette as i'm about to have a mid life crisis a few years early...

I don't know if my experience is unique, but it's like the gray is in a race with the thinnings.

Right now my grays are winning, but if recent history repeats the thinnings will pickup the pace in 9-12 months and make another run at the grays.

I'm starting to find grays every now and then, but I don't particularly give a rat's ass what color it turns as long as it stays put.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm starting to get a monkey's butt in the back of my head.

I'd give just about anything to see it go gray on top rather than go down the shower drain which is currently what is happening. I have more hair than most guys in my family had at 24. It still sucks that it's starting to thin badly.

Fear not.. I'm already there. If I'm not careful, it looks like there's a giant squid trying to liberate itself from my nostril.

My hair started to fall out my freshmen year at UT. About 2 years ago I went to the beard trimmers/zero guard all over and cut it about every 5 days now. I learned from Hitler that you can't win a war with 2 fronts - I had power alleys and the eggs were starting to get a little sunny-side up in the back...

I am in my mid 40s pretty blessed to have most of my hair. I am getting progressively grayer on my head and my facial hair. Bummer.
Bald would NOT be a good look for me. My head has more divots and brown spots than a South Texas muni golf course in mid August.

My head is easily less than 5% gray still, even though they're gaining fast....

But my "beard" is like 60% gray. I actually don't mind that so much.

Regarding the hair in strange places....do you guys ever trim up one day and then seemingly 2 days later there's a rogue hair like an inch long sprouting out of some random place ? That's really weird. The damn things come up so fast I wish I knew so you could watch them grow.
