The State of the Site

All,

I realize that this site has been a pain in the ass for the past few weeks, but we're looking into getting a new host, upgrading the software and last but not least transferring the ownership. We hope to have all of this done within a week or so, so bear with us, we'll get back to kicking each other in the nuts soon enough.

Then we'll get down to making some improvements to the site, opening up registration again and setting up a link for donations.

We have plenty of things to get done, not the least of which is getting a television for the tailgate.

So, again, bear with us, we apologize for the downtime, but hopefully you're actually getting some work done for a change.

You know what else is great about internships??

We will lose some posts in this transition, but only a few days worth and to be honest there hasn't been much posting lately anyway...

And the paypal donation link has been there all along... I haven't gotten any donations in 18 months, so this whole bitch has been coming out of my pocket... This is probably why I didn't care so much about how slow the site is running... I didn't feel like begging for money anymore...

A couple of things...

You may run into login problems for the next few days until our new DNS servers propogate around the world... This should resolve itself...

Also, You may want to clear your cookies from lmfanzone.com and lmfanzone.net (both point to this site now), as well as clean the cache on your browser...

A big thank you to the 3 of you who donated yesterday...

While this site really exists to extend our relationships outside of Saturdays in the fall, it is often overlooked that running the site takes time and money... I know that all of you are used to donating at the tailgate, and I appreciate those that donated here as well...
