You know there are years where the conditions are ripe for low scores and some that aren't. Look at 2010 and 2011 for lots of low numbers. Then 2007 for contrast.

Nicklaus and Floyd went -17 in the 60s and 70s.

It wasn't the -18 number that was so unbelieveable about the 1997 Masters. It was the margin of victory.

Someone will hit -20 at some point.

Tiger won by 12 shots and permanently changed the game.

You don't get to be #1 on the PGA Tour in putting by rolling in a couple 20-25 footers.

There was a another good example of what I don't like today. On 18 he's trailing by one and then throws his club down on the approach. You really don't do that in the situation and context that he did it. But he's just a little whiny cry-baby so we've come to expect it. OK fine. But then we also have to listen about how mature and composed he is. When he is not.
