A&M was one of the last 4 in the tourney. We really should beat them, but it is baseball so who knows.

We took the season series from Rice as well.

If we play like we did last weekend I like us to advance.

They took a huge gamble letting that kid go the whole game last night and it paid off for them. They should have a pretty fresh pen tonight. Not sure who they'll start tonight. I'm guessing Hollingsworth for us and all hands on deck after that.

Pretty much a toss up, but we've had the better pitching all year which usually wins games like this. We'll see.

Don't forget the one thing we absolutely have going for us... a guaranteed out at home plate sometime during the game. I thought Dave Clark was bad in Houston, but that A&M third base coach is fucking terrible.

That was a heckuva performance by the Ag pitcher last night. I kept thinking we were about to run him but he dug down and kept coming.

That being said, we picked the wrong game to throw the ball over the field like a bunch of tee-ballers.

Our pitcher was so wild with the ball, he looked like a little leaguer. It was crazy.

I mean, in the dirt, over the catchers head, behind the batter. WTF?

I know the kid was nervous but damn. He had like 25 walks and the only reason he was left in was to conserve the bullpen. Seems like we might have won had we made a move early. Yeah, yeah... "you've got to give him a chance to settle into his groove before making a move. Otherwise it damages confidence." Blah blah.

Pitching didn't lose that game last night. Errors and not being able to get anything strung together against their guy is why we lost.

Take away the errors and the balk call and A&M only puts one run on the board.

Agreed. The errors were what put the runs on the board.

A lot of those guys were on base because of walks... and it could've been a lot worse given how many opportunities we offered up.

Yes, they should've never made it across the plate. My point is that they should have never been on base in the first place.

Anyway, big game tonight. The Aggies will be fired up and from the attitude that I've seen this weekend, our boys will be to. Good stuff.

Also, if there's a Game 3, then whoever wants my tickets can have them...just buy me a beer....or Tito's and Soda more likely, but whatever. I'll be on a plane during the game, but luckily it's JetBlue, so hopefully it's on one of the ESPN's, but I obviously can't make it.

Nice win tonight. Glad that call at first didn't come back to bite us. Don't see us beating Vandy twice in a row, but I'm more than happy with making the final 4 this year.
