Hahaha

I'm planning on seeing Ted with ultra low expectations.

Going to see Savages too. (spoiler alert) That movie looks really good.

Anyone see MIB3 yet? Want to see it as well.

I watched American Reunion the other night and laughed my ass off, Out Loud. That is rare for me.

I also recently saw "War Horse" an intend to write a review...although that was 2011 maybe. I think they accidentally made perhaps the greatest anti-War movie ever. This is not to say the film is great but it is good enough and very interesting.

Savages was very nicely done. Enjoyed everything about it. 8/10

Batman Begins was better than Dark Knight

U2 is so wrong here it is unbelievable.

Agree with Atl. While I thought Rises was good it came nowhere close to meeting Dark Knight. Honestly it is probably unfair to expect that as DK was so great. This one felt a little bit forced and had it not been for the final hour I probably would have walked out very disappointed. Well I guess not totally disappointed, Anne Hathaway being sprawled out over that motorcycle with her ass in the air would have made up for some of it.

What Kev said....anyone walking out of that movie lauding anything but the acting performances from Phoenix and Seymour-Hoffman needs to get their nose out of thin air....what a complete piece of shit....I was literally angry walking out of that theater.

The score was pretty amazing as well, but when you're watching a movie thinking "Wow, the acting is great" or "The score is great!" that's a problem. If it's a good movie, that kind of stuff doesn't occur to you until afterwards.

I don't know how I missed it until now, but I completely agree with the sentiment regarding The Master. What a piece of shit that movie was.

Saw Bernie last night. First half was outstanding, 2nd half dragged and was sorta meh. Still worth a watch.

So as far as 2012 goes, I have seen:

--Moonrise Kingdom
--The Master
--Seven Psychopaths

Based on this thread, it doesn't sound like there's anything really worth watching outside of Batman. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Argo, Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook were all good. I'd rank them in that order, with Moonrise Kingdom either before or after Lincoln.

Looking forward to Zero Dark Thirty and Django Unchained.

Yeah... Definitely going to see Argo at some point. I was just thinking more along the lines of stuff out on video right now.

I don't need to see SIlver Linings Playbook to know that it sucks.

It was really good but whatever. Almost everything sucks in Kevin Land. We all know that.

It's a movie about dance lessons. Super gay.

I thought the acting in Lincoln was great but thought the plot and movie was pretty MEH. I thought it was going to be a movie about his life, but really it was just a movie about the 13th amendment. In fact it probably should have been called 13th amendment instead of Lincoln.

Really looking forward to Django and Zero Dark Thirty as well. Also as corny as it seems I want to see so this is 40, because I'm a Paul Rudd P1.

Safety Not Guaranteed
The Hobbit
Madagascar 3
Wreck-it Ralph
Ted

Still would like to see The Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall, This is 40, and probably Zero Dark Thirty

I can't wait for the new Obama movie coming out. It isnt a movie about his life (like the Lincoln movie). It's just about him abolishing the 2nd amendment.

Really liked Dark Knight Rises.

Nobody is taking your fucking guns, Peabody. There are plenty of threads on Ask The Consigliere if you still feel the need to express your butthurt regarding the election.
