Ted is the funniest movie since Dumb and Dumber.

that is almost like a spoiler because it is such a huge statement. I will disregard it and go in with low expectations. I don't want you to ruin it for me.

A movie is funny is a spoiler?

When you put it the way you you did, one could possibly come to that conclusion.

I must agree with Drew, EPIC movie. Cannot wait to see it a second time so I can hear all of the stuff I missed from laughing so loud.

If you are a fan of adult comedy, this is a must see.

I'm not 100% sure I would agree, but I would definitely put it in the ballpark... I feel like the last few seasons of Family Guy have been forced and the comedic timing hasn't been there, so I was apprehensive about seeing this... This movie felt like it had the magic of the first couple of seasons of FG, with the crudeness of the later episodes... A perfect mix... Seth MacFarlane definitely pulled this shit off...

Also funny you mention Dumb and Dumber, finally watched the Newsroom last night... To this day it is still hard to picture Jeff Daniels as anything other then Harry Dunne with his tongue stuck to the ski lift

Agreed and he's the only thing about that show that's keeping me interested.

I thought last night's episode was awful.

Only watched week 1 so far, which I liked... I'm hoping they continue with shadowing real world issues... And even as a dirty liberal, I hope Sorkin can show both sides of stories (although I doubt it based on past work)... Peabody spoiler alert for week 2 suckage Drew!

Week 1 did have some really good moments... The end where they talk about how other news agencies were discussing the lost iPhone prototype had me actually LOL...

Movie review: Mr. Peabody style:

I recently viewed a movie whose title I shall not disclose. I will also refrain from commenting on my enjoyment, or lack thereof, and the quality of said film

Movie Review: 12oz style

I saw a movie. Next to me was a fat bitch. In front of me were 8 of the loudest dirtiest cunt-shit kids. My popcorn butter tasted like both major parties jizzed in a bucket. 4/10

I saw Safety Not Guaranteed today. There were only 3 other people in the theater when I saw it. I liked it, but I'm a big Aubrey Plaza fan. Not sure how those unfamiliar with her would feel. I am kinda surprised how well it's scored on Rotten Tomatoes.

In related news, Arbor Cinema at Great Hills fucking sucks.

Wow. Arbor is probably my favorite theater in town.

Saw Avengers tonight. Most of the lines were cheesy and forced, but it balanced the characters well, and the action scenes were great. Much better than your standard blockbuster.

They show great movies, but it smells and the screens are way too high.

Never noticed a smell before. It's old school seating so I get that complaint, but I guess it's never really bothered me much because the showings are rarely crowded and you can sprawl out.

I just love the location and the fact that they show the best movies. And it's nice to not have to deal with riff-raff. K and I went to The Avengers last night at Metropolitan (probably the nicest theater in town?) and it was like a PSA on why you should stay in school. Either that or they were casting the remake of Stand and Deliver outside the theater.

There were white kids in Stand and Deliver. Or I least I think there were.

I saw Ted today. I thought it was incredibly mediocre. Not that many big laughs at all.

4.5/10
