If you like the Old 97s and haven't listened to the album of demo stuff from Too Far To Care they just released, you should check it out. I'd really like to hear "You Were Right", "Everybody But Me" and "Sound of Running" on future albums.

Random thought, but if there are any Silversun Pickup fans here, tickets to their 12/16 show went on sale today. The show is at Emo's East, which would've been a turn-off up to a couple weeks ago, but I went to the Metric show there a few weeks back, and that place is pretty nice now....sound is good as well.....I was pleasantly surprised.

A. Emo's East is a great venue.
B. I do like Silversun Pickups, and I may need to check out this show.
C. How the fuck did I miss Metric?

Just listened to the new Soundgarden album....first one in 15 years. Anyway, if that's your thing, then you'll love it.....it's pretty fan-fucking-tactic!!!

It's also on Spotify already.

Listened to it three times through earlier this week. It is a great bounceback from that POS they put out in the mid-90s, though not quite up to Superunknown or Badmotorfinger. Glad to see them making new stuff - they were one of my faves back in the day.
