Multi-tasking = HOT

The demo of Pandora running in the background, and being able to use the iPod controls to change songs is nice...

I love the multi-tasking, but Jobs just said it won't work with the 3G....fail.

The folders are a good idea.

Not so much fail, as the 3g is almost 2 years old and doesn't have the ram/CPU to run it. Happy now I upgraded to 3gs, will likely buy iPhone HD when it gets announced

What about tethering...or is this still simply an AT&T issue?

iLike

I didn't really anticipate upgrading from my 3GS, but the improved resolution (but smaller screen?! :| ) might make me jump up. My wife can have my 3GS if I choose to upgrade.

Probably won't though.

Wonder when it comes out.

I got a 3G and about 2-3 months later the 3GS came out. I kinda need a new one, but I want to stick it out until the new one comes out.

Just got the EVO. Extremely impressed. Don't have 4G coverage in Little Elm, but once I get south of 121, my phone is faster than my fingers can type.

F. I updated my iTunes to 9.2 but when I try to upgrade my phone, it hangs up at "backing up" your phone. I've tried three times now. :x

Very frustrating...

iPhone OS 4.0

Postby HornMafia on Fri Jun 25, 2010 2:24 pm

It isn't hanging up. If it is a 3G it takes awhile. Mine took 2 1/2 hours. Stupid.

I just let it sit overnight.

Exactly what I did. After the third time I let it update at 11:00 Thursday night, then got up at 6:00 the next morning to go to work...still "backing up" mode. Had to disconnect to go to work.

I'll try tonight and leave it, see what happens. Way too high on the PIA factor.

Time for a new phone :D

Seriously, the speed and display of the 4, especially versus the 3G, will blow you away.

I'll be getting the new one, but I'm going to let the crowds die down first.
