LOST 3/2

Whoa.

So....why did Jacob have them take Sayid to the Temple? He had to know that was going to happen, right? Someone said on Shaggy earlier this year that the Last Supper promo pic would have the evil on one side and the good on the other, and that certainly seems to be the case right now.

I remember seeing that picture over on shaggybevo. The thing that interests me most now is the fact that they have Richard on one side and Ben on the other.

from an earlier thread this season:

I imagine that it will either be amazing or total shit and nothing in between. When its over, either I'm going to immediately start watching the whole thing again or else be pissed off that I wasted 1 minute on it. I can't see any in-between on this deal.

I'm starting to fear for the second scenario.

I just don't know where in the heck they are going with things and how they'll tie things up now.

We just spent so much time last season on Widmore/Ben/Mrs Hawking/Farraday, and now that is completely thrown away...or so it seems. And Desmond & Penny? Anyone? It's also reminiscent of the really weak stretch of Season 3 where all the Losties are in so many separate places on the island.

Ilana is on the "evil" side too.

Yeah. I was entertained by tonight's episode, but I'm starting to wonder too. I can't imagine the writers would do all of the time travel stuff and everything with Faraday/Mrs. Hawking/Widmore if it didn't somehow figure into how all of this ties together. The writers have known for quite awhile that they had season 4, 5 and 6 to tie things up, so I can't imagine that we didn't hit a ton of important points last season as far as closing things out is concerned. I just can't figure out for the life of me what those points were and I guess that's what will make it pretty cool if they manage to tie everything up and put a bow on it.

Edit: Do we have any idea where Sawyer has been these last few episodes?

I paused it for a brief moment tonight to gather my thoughts on When exactly we were, because I had not been clear When Jack and gang where after the thing blew up. When I realized that they were at the same time as Ben and what's her face then I had to process that for a second. Anyway so the point was Laura says, "What are you doing ! Just hit play"....and I said gimme a second I'm sorting out this time thing real quick. So she says,

I think I'm beginning to agree with Sepinwall in that these "flash sideways" are what happens at the end for our Losties.

The Losties have been trying to get back to their "normal" lives for quite some time, but Jin/Sun had an awful marriage, Jack's life was a wreck, Kate was in federal custody, Sawyer's life was in shambles, etc. and the flash sideways go to show that these people were always "meant" to run into each other, and that life doesn't always have a pretty bow in the end.

How they get there, or why, for instance Jack's appendix was taken out 30 years earlier in this life, I'm not sure, but that makes the most logical sense.

If I watch 120-some-odd episodes of something it sure as hell better.

Ya'll are sending me to Google a lot lately.

Never heard of Shiner 101. Went to the Website. Came back with a new signature and my new favorite Czech Proverb: "A Hundred Times Nothing killed the Donkey".

I'm not sure what it means, but it is almost certainly profound.
