AT&T UVerse

Okay, let me have it. What are the pros and cons of uverse? I am just about fed up with Time Warner pissing on me, so I looked into it and it appears to be available at our apartment now.

The main reasons I would switch would be:

A.) NFL Network and the Redzone channel.
B.) More (every?) Mavericks game that is at least on FSW
C.) More Rangers games in HD
D.) FXHD and AMCHD in addition to the other HD channels I already have.

Let me know if any of these assumptions are wrong.

Also, how is the internet, especially in comparison to Time Warner if you have had that? I'm fine with TW-Internet, I just don't want it to be any slower.

I was really really close to trying out uverse this week.

However, dishtv is giving me two additional HDTV dvr receivers and only increasing my bill $4 per month, so I'm happy. they are also giving me HBO and Showtime free for 3 months.

I'm replacing my bedroom tv which is a 27" sony CRT tv with a 37" 1080P 120hz Vizio LCD HDTV. It fits perfectly in my armoire. I could fit a 40" but it would be a tight fit.

btw, since I just got HBO, is entourage a good show????

Yes.

I just started watching Entourage for the first time a week ago. Finished season 1 last week and should be getting season 2 this week via Netflix.
