This may have been discussed earlier this year, but I just watched the Amazon pilot for "Man in the High Castle," based on a Philip K Dick story where the Axis won WWII and the US is now two puppet states for Germany (east coast) and Japan (west coast) with a buffer "neutral zone" in between. I guess you have to be an Amazon Prime member to watch. The pilot debuted in January but the full first season won't start until November. This has the makings for one of the top new shows, IMO.

New season of Fargo is brilliant.....somehow better than last season, which was greatness.....one of the best shows on TV, IMO....up there with GOT, or whatever your favorite show is.

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/fargo- ... 1741549292

Preach.

Done with Ray Donovan, as in done watching it. How many story lines can you have going at one time, but the bigger problem is that they story lines are just dumb and pointless. On a side note....why throw those braces on Katie Holmes....what was the point of that again?

Just binge watched the first four episodes of The Leftovers.....good stuff...didn't have high hopes for whatever reason, but I like where it's going.....wherever that is.

And Narcos on Netflix is............really good. :D

I think S2 of The Leftovers is better than S1 as a whole, and the last two weeks have been tremendous. For me S1 was an interesting premise highlighted by two very strong individual POV episodes (one of Pastor Matt and one of Nora Durst) and a strong finale. S2 has been more balanced, IMO. It's my favorite show on tv right now.

I started to check out Fargo this week and did not see it on Netflix. Does Prime have it?

A few weeks ago I decided to run through Breaking Bad again and just finished S2 last night. Interesting re-watching when you know Walt is a POS from the start, but Jesus... George R.R. Martin was right when he said there wasn't a more despicable person in Westeros than Walter White. Just a complete scumbag sociopath.

Looks like Hulu has exclusive rights to Fargo streaming

Here to chime in on Fargo - Season 2. If they don't pull down some Emmy's it will be a shame.
Still watching American Horror Story... but I may be tapping out after this year. I will say that I do like the set or 'on location' for the Hotel.

Still watch Big Bang and Amazing Race.
Awaiting The Americans and Archer.

Need to wrap up Longmire too.

Oh yeah, I bolted on American Horror Story after Season 2, and I barely made it through that.....went from awesome to so horribly hokey(sp?) that it wasn't the least bit scary....just became stupid, which is a shame, because that first season was great.

As for Fargo, yeah, it's going to clean up at the Emmy's.

Good article about Fargo, and specifically the episode on Monday: http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/fargo- ... 1424120797

Does anyone else watch "Billy on the Street".....probably not because it's on TruTV, but you should....it's hilarious, but not good if you have ADHD.

Just finished House of Cards on Netflix. I loved it.

Watching the new season of Longmire on Netflix.

Going to start Narcos soon and Homeland.

Homeland is really good this season. It has had its up and downs in other seasons, but I'm glad we've stuck with it.

Have not seen last night's ep yet, but this season has been the strongest since the first, IMO. Now if Crazy Carrie would just take a bullet to the dome it would be even better. Peter Quinn FTW!

Haven't seen any of Homeland yet this season...I'll have to get caught up.

Just about caught up on Leftovers and it's been good.

I've also heard great things about Master of None on Netflix (Aziz Ansari). Planning on binging that one this week.

I keep hearing the same, but the first ep didn't do much for me. I will give it a few more tries.

I'm about three weeks behind on Homeland so there's a marathon session brewing. Which is nice.

I'm struggling with Homeland...it's all over the place, and I'm with you Robbi, she's so manic/crazy, and I get that's the intent, but it's a bit over the top. It reminds me of my ex-girlfriends, only with more crazy and no ass. If I have to see those stupid bug eyes one more time, I'm gonna' punch myself in the dick. Just sayin'??

Watched homeland season 1 episode 1 tonight.

I learned something new. The quick snatch wash took me by surprise. I did not know that girls did this when they were in a rush and didn't have time for a shower. It made me dislike Clair Danes. She's disgusting. Take a shower and clean properly.

Besides that, the show was interesting.

During the previews for mocking jay 2, they ran a preview for a mini series coming out on Hulu called "11.22.63". It's the last Stephen King book I read and it was great. I'll be getting a Hulu sub to watch.

Yeah the filming of that made downtown Dallas traffic absolute hell for a week. Sounds interesting.

I think the the season of The Leftovers that just concluded last night was as good as any single season of television I have seen. Just incredible storytelling, acting, direction and presentation. I hope it's renewed.

That's great news. I have them all recorded. I've only watched the 1st episode so far on season 2. I really liked it.

I'm busy watching the current season of Longmire as well as Narcos, and season 2 of Homeland. I will make sure to finish The Leftovers
