I think lunch time is my very favorite part of the day.

I spend all morning thinking about where and what I'm going to eat for lunch.

Today, I'm going to sink my teeth into the Bella Vista Sandwich.

That sandwich yesterday for lunch was greatness. Seriously, I would probably request it for my last meal if I was on death row.

Trying to decide on Mexican food or go the sandwich route today.

That place has an Italian cheesesteak sandwich that I haven't tried yet. The greek lady said that I would love it.

I'm still waiting for my damn refill. :x

My lunch sucked today.

Waited forty five minutes for a half ass burger at a place called Bubba's and Nana's in North Tulsa. First and last time.

What really sucks, it is a hole in the wall cafe that used to be called George's. The food there was kick ass, the only place in town to get a genuine Cuban sandwich and portions were freaking huge. I loved George's. Fuck Bubba.

I'm having lunch at Camarelli's tommorrow. They make this seafood pasta in a pink vodka sauce that is incredible.

Damn, I went back to the little Italian place today and had that Italian Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was delicious. I prefer the Bella Vista over it though. It is pure Heaven.

This place is not open on Mondays.

Sad story......

I ate at this place 3 times last week for lunch. Remember they are not open on Mondays. This week, I've already eaten there twice so far.

I gotta go BBQ or Mexican tomorrow.

Damn, I'm hungry already... but I think it's to the house for me today, and a Totino's party pizza. Maybe I'll swing by Bert's for a chopped beef instead, and save the pizza for tonight.

OKC... there were only about 5 people in the restaurant, so refills came quick!

Johnny Carinos today.

Had a delicious Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich.

Yesterday, I had the Bella Vista Sandwich. It's a masterpiece. All other sandwichs bow down to it's greatness.

Monday, Cheeseburger, Fries, and Salad at a steak joint.

I had Chipotle today for lunch.

I think it's trendy to hate on Chipotle because Freebirds is so popular, but I like it.

I had the steak fajita burrito, it was delicious. No need to compare the two, there is room for both of them.

Forgive me for not updating this sacred lunch thread.

I drove up to Guthrie yesterday and had lunch at a little Mexican joint behind a Texaco gas station. I had the Tacos Al Carbon. I'm kinda hooked on those things right now. In case you don't know they are basically a grilled flour tortilla wrapped up with carne asada meat in them. They usually give you two of them along with guacamole and rice and beans. The best I ever had was the ones at the Blue Goose in Big D.

I'll post a pic of thar sandwich that I rave about later. Cell phones that can take pics come in handy.

I'm going to Central Market today... not sure what they have or if it's good.

I ate the most delicious BBQ today. I think that I have mentioned it before. It's called Swadleys.

OKC, you need to get your ass over there. It's on NW 23 inbetween Rockwell and Council.

The honey rubbed ribs are the best ribs that I've ever eaten. The meat falls off the freaking bone. They are juicy and tender.

Try the hot links too. Best I've had.

Get the fried tators too. They are out of this world. The seasoning is unbelievable.

The chopped brisket is good. It makes a great sandwich. There is no chopped up fat in it.

Don't forget to try the baked beans. Damn good too.

I'll post some pics later.

Peabody is a professional endorser so you must take his "the best I've had" and dumb it down to "it was marginal at best"

At least you know when he says food or a movie sucks that it must REALLY suck.

Today I visited, with some friends, BBQ World Headquarters, over off Burnet.

I ordered a chopped beef, because I wanted to compare it to some of the chopped beefs that I've eaten at other places around town. Unfortunately they overcooked the meat and the potato salad tasted like it came from HEB.

My buddy Justin swore that the ribs ranked among the best in town. Maybe so, but the chopped beef didn't come close.

I had a sandwich and cup of chili today. The chili was so fucking hot that it burnt the roof of my mouth. I spent the afternoon rubbing the roof of my mouth with my tongue feeling the broken skin from the blisters that had popped.

It's even more weird how your tongue is apparently much stronger than the roof of your mouth. It can handle much higher temperatures than the roof of your mouth.

I hate burning the roof of my mouth. Those burst blisters annoy me.

I ate Taco Bell today. I've become quite fond of Taco Bell lately.

I think I'll probably do the DoubleDave's pizza roll special tomorrow.

Pizza is usually the one that burns my mouth.
