Anyone that wants to trade account info for ESPN 3 for a HBO Go password let me know. For some reason you can't get ESPN3 with Dish for some reason.

There's a web browser for iPad and iPhone called "Mercury" that is somehow way faster than the Safari browser that comes with....and it's free. I personally like the interface better, and I was able to easily sync my Google Chrome bookmarks and folders from work(same can be done with Firefox), and best of all, did I mention it's free. Try it out and let me know what you think, but in my mind, it looks better and is much faster....I haven't used Safari since I downloaded the app. For those that know about this, there's also a version that's cost .99 cents, but I can't figure out what the difference is between that and the free version....if there is one.

Funny this thread came to life today...

After years of holding tightly to my Blackberry, today I became the owner of an Apple product.

I should sift through this thread to find some apps.

So... looking through this thread.

Tried to get phonesaber but it no longeer exists.

I see that Matt REALLY likes MLB at-bat.

Words with friends was at one point very popular but not sure if it still is.

Download list so far is Facebook, yelp, Linkedin, Pandora, Uverse, Shazam.

Considering ANgry birds since I have no idea what it is and it was so popular.

Others?

Watch ESPN (if your carrier supports it)
PGA Tour

When the golf majors approach, download their individual apps.

That's a start. ESPN's college football app is pretty good too.

I think watch espn sucked... Never worked as well as other streaming apps.

Wwf is still pretty popular. I haven't played angry birds in forever.

Stanza is a great book app, and pandora and I heart radio are good music/radio apps. If you want to pay the $10 a month spotify is outstanding. Also, if you buy much music fRom amazon their cloud player is a must-have.

Yahoo sports ulnar works better than espn score enter, I think, for scores.

Honestly I use about 10 apps regularly.

I stream The Ticket with TuneIn so I can record it.

The latest TuneIn update (2.9) is a disaster though, so I've been using ooTunes. It's a lot clunkier but it works and TuneIn doesn't at the moment.

Never heard of ooTunes. I only use I heart Radio when I occasionally tune into the Ticket.

Yeah, so that's what i want to avoid... downloading a million things and only using 5.

With my Blackberry, Google maps and the weather channel were the only ones I ever used.

I have downloaded Starwood Hotels app an AA for my travels.

Ended up getting angry birds and played it for about an hour. Don't really see how it is addicting.

Today I got, ShopSavvy barcode reader to compare prices to online stores and a flashlight app.

I think I'm done at this point until the major golf tournaments come around and I need to watch. Masters Live will be a MUST.

Not a fan of the new SportsCenter app (replacing ScoreCenter).

What do y'all use for tracking sports scores?

Pretty cool App I just came across called Pocket, and sorry if it's already been noted on this thread, but I couldn't find it. Basically allows you to quickly push any articles/pics/links you come across while browsing or on Twitter to the cloud for later viewing, which I really use mostly for Twitter. I can't tell you how many times I see an article that I don't have time to read(usually in my car or whilst taking a leak at a bar) that with two clicks I can now push to my Pocket site....pretty cool. There are other similar apps, but this one's the best I've seen.

I use Instapaper, but I save a lot more than I go back and read. May check that one out, too.
