I have both an iPhone 3gs and a storm 2 (for work). I have zero patience for any of the BB apps, and if I could bury this fing thing in the end zone of Giants Stadium I would in an instant

Put me in the "addicted to Words with Friends app" camp as well... I set a new record with 111 points on one word over the weekend. I'm The Royal We if anyone is looking for a game.

111, wow! U2 pulled a 90 pointer on me today. I think my best is something like 75.

OK I'm going to downloard "Words With Friends". Is the pay version better?

With a record of 109-23 and 6 Big 12 titles in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

So since I'm not OCD the free one should be fine.

Geez don't play Drew. He's started 2 games with me. Both times his starter word was over 60 points. I think he's a cheater.

Ha... "botches" and "birthed." If I have to cheat to get those obscure words then I should probably re-enroll in middle school... perhaps I could make the basketball team this time.

I guess they can't completely copy Scrabble, but it's bogus that you only get a 35pt bonus for using all your tiles.

Speaking of cheaters. Peabody broke out "ionise" and "inure" on me.

My personal favorites from Mr. Peabody were "FYTTE", "HYETAL" and "OVOID".

i sometimes scramble letters together until "IT" gives me a word that finally passes. It doesn't always work, but it does often enough.

I don't apologize for that.

Is that why it takes 24 hrs per move?

Just download the "Local Concerts" app from iLike, Inc.....which has to be one of the coolest and most useful apps I've seen....and it's free!!! Not sure if it's an old app, but I know there's a ton of live music fans on here, so a lot of you will love it. You can not only search based on date, artist and/or venue, but it will look through the music library on your phone and list when/where those artists are coming, and will even send push notifications when they book a show, although I haven't found that setting yet...pretty cool app, imo.

DoodleJump is a highly addictive game that is worth every bit of $1 if you're in to simple fun.

I downloaded Siri last night.

It's pretty cool. It has voice recognition (you can type things in as well if you're on a secret SEAL mission in Afghanistan), ask "I need a reservation for a sushi restaurant at 8 pm" and it finds all the sushi restaurants near you on Open Table. Tell it you're drunk and it gets you a cab. Tell it you want to see Avatar near the restaurant and it finds showtimes and a link to buy tickets. Ask what is going on tonight near you and it gives you a list of concerts, art showings, etc.

And it's free.

I just downloaded that one recently too. Haven't played with it too much yet. I let my 5 year old and 3 year old give it a try last night though.

don't know if anyone has mentioned YELP.

It's a really good application.

I used it in Naples, florida recently and found some really excellent restaurant thanks to the reviews on it.
